What's up guys this is my first time at the track here at Capital raceway in maryland with my 01 camaro ss, it's a full bolt on car, bbk long tubes and magnaflow catback, slp lid and pulley, 323 gears, stock bf goodwrench g-force super sport tires 275/40/zr17 spohn subframe connectors spohn strut tower brace and dyno tuned by frost and right at 83k miles on the car. Anyway I hit the track this friday the 13th for the first time with my camaro. I'm definetly a new face around the track and I am willing to learn what I need to get the full potential of the car. I also have spohn lower control arms and pan hard bar to be installed along with a ported throttle body in the near future. I had a blast and met some cool people. Am I about right where I need to be and where can I improve, car is also a A4, Thanks in advance

throw a stall and some sticky tires and you will be WAY in the 12's

Use to run Capital until I moved to Harford Co. and Cecil being 20 minutes out or so ;)

Looking at the math I see .8 being left on the floor......You're not spinning, correct ?

Yep im sure a yank ss 3600 would do wonders, that's my next mod for sure but with it being a stock tranny and 83k on the clock i'm not sure how it will hold up to a big stall? and no i'm not spinning at all from what I can feel it really hooked, so as far as everything looks time and mod wise, I should be right where I need to be ? i really wanted to be in the 12's as is though...I'm sure some practice will definetly help... Thanks for the input guys

Do not go any lower than 3600 you will punch yourself if you do.
SSRA is super sucker ram air its a cold air induction kit.
It dropped my time a couple tenths on my bolt on stock internal car before the stall.

ok just making sure thanks, the stall is definetly next for sure, would you even go as far as to say a 4k stall or is that too much, the car is a 99% daily driven car so reliabilty is a must

ss3600-ss4000 is the ranges.
If your car is mostly a street car like mine I would stick to ss3600. Mine is weekend warrior OR I could dd it no problem. It sees the track only couple times a year.

I ran the mickey thompson drs when I get into the 11s. 275 40 17.
I used hoosiers before and they are way better track tire but they wont last long for street.
Use the mt drs

Just another heads up....Saturday TNT's are better than Friday Nite TNT's....better track prep and less rice. A little more $$, but worth it IMO.
