Default Help with my build direction...

Sold the 5.3 I had, now i have a 6.0 Lq4.

Here is what I have:
LQ4 Shortblock (fresh)
5.3 heads (will have 2" valves cut and installed with some mild port work) LS6 springs
LS1 intake (It's what I got, and I cant afford much else)
Truck TB ported
truck 85mm MAF
1 3/4" MAC long tubes for Mustang with LS flanges and full 3" MAC catback with X-pipe

I need nice street manners. I want daily driver abilities with this car.
I need a cam that will provide that, and sound good too.

Going 4L80e with stock convertor (till funds arrive) 3.73 gears.

What do I need to look for?

I dot think a 4l80 is nessesary as you are working with stock power levels, that big Trans will have more parasitic losses than a 4l60... But if that's what you got you'll be fine...

As far as cam I would go in the low to mid 230s in duration but stay under .600" on the lift bc those stock heads won't flow past that...good luck man!
