Default 19x8.5 all around 38mm what tires,will it look okay?

I have finally found an out of production set of rims I like but they are 19x8.5 ,not 19x9.5 everyone seems to prefer,they are 38mm offset, 5x120mm,will they fit right and what size tires to use on my stock 99 trans am? thanks !!

8.5" width will fit a 245 or 255 tire.

that doesnt soun all that appealing,the stock wheels have 275's so does that mean my new rims/tires will be narrower?
i definatly would not want that.

Your stock wheels are 17x9", thats why "everyone prefers" that size or wider, no sense in going any narrower than that.

Damn folks, it wont look that bad...

19x8.5s, 38mm offset, 245s all around, no spacers


1" spacer/adapter in the rear - WILL rub even with rolled fenders



275/30s on the rears, no spacers

Well,I better hold off then,I really want some rpm 505's but as we all know there are none around !
