Default Drag suspension Questions

Drag suspension are you taking the front roll bar off?
2nd What about the rear roll bar leave it on or remove it?
My current set-up is 90/10 Lakewood struts with Eibach drag springs with a bag in the right rear spring.

you want a stiffer rear bar, if you remove it altogether the car will want to roll over, so to speak.

running qa1 double adjustable with 300# fronts. taking off the front bar can net you some gains, but why bother if the car does double duty on the street.

Ive got my front bar off, can barely tell unless I really push it into a corner. You want the stiffest rear possible.

I have the UMI Dragsway bar and noticed a HUGE difference. Probably one of my favorite upgrades to my suspension ever. The sway bars combined with the frame ties made it so that when I removed my front sway bar I barely noticed a difference. During normal driving circumstances you can't tell that it's gone at all.

Loose the front one and leave the rear. As said an upgrade to the rear would be a good investment.

I went with the Wolfe solid bar. A little too aggressive for the street (some suggest) but I absolutely love it. The car sees more street driving than strip but it doesn't bother me in the least.

Definitely don't remove the rear swaybar. It'll be like driving a canoe.

I removed my front bar also, it doesn't feel much different at all under normal driving unless you really get into a curve. Doesn't bother me any. Noticed a little difference at the track. The front climbs faster so to speak.

Our newly designed BMR xtreme anti-roll bar would be perfect for you if you are going to concentrate on drag racing. It requires no welding for install and can easily be done by the DIY guys. The xtreme anti roll bar performs well at the track and can be driven on the street without any issues. If there is anything we can help you out with let us know.

^^^^^ this or you can get their 25mm rear sway bar if you drive your car more then race it. i got that one and havnt gone back. and it looks great too. handles twisties pretty well too if you like that. the 25mm BMR sway bolts like stock if you dont want to get that far. and its hollow.

ditch the front bar. the stock back bar is only slightly better than nothing at all.
if you have the money get a true arb. you will able to get rid of the bag. we run a trz setup. its not cheap but the quality and service is top notch.

I run a BMR set neutral, picks both fronts 4-6" every pass and doesn't feel harsh on the street at all.

remove the front bar and run the siffest rear you can get your hands on........to give you an idea my car used to pick the left front up about 18" and the right front about 12" took off the rear sway bar and it was twisted when it came off the left part was 4" bent up vs the right........replaced it with a bmr xtreme and after re tuning the car now picks up both about 12" evenly and carries them about the 60' mark.........

point being again......no front.....STIFF rear
