99 SS m6 all stock.
My rear diff is noisy . Leaky pinion seal and ran low on fluid.....
If I'm gonna rebearing it I would like to regear it also..
I have a set of 3.73's from a 2002 s-10 blazer sitting on the shelf.
Or should I buy a set of 4.11's.
I currently have 3.43's......
Any thing I should prepair for?
I Have traction control and wheel speed sensor,s at the end of each axle..
Thanks

3.73 are better for a bolt-on car and stock height tire. I was never impressed with the 4.10 in my car.

4.10s is what most go with with m6s.

I think you're more likely to end up with a quiet rear end by installing new gears instead of used gears. I like my 4.10s with the stock 26" tires.

I'd use the Factory 3.73's - you already have them correct? not a whole lotta difference to 4.10's and with those you will need to grind the paddle in your diff - the 4.10's ring gear is thicker and in the way of a stock paddle. I used to sell a bunch of OEM GM gears for cars like ours. IMO GM gears are quieter than a/m gears are, plus your 3.73s wont need break in - already done!
