I finally got around to getting the whole car repainted. Replaced the spoiler with a fiberglass one, had all the wheels refinished when I put new tires on a few weeks ago, and also had the headliner redone.

here are a couple pics, as well as links to the whole albums (both regular grade, and also some from a higher res camera). note: i took pics from all angles of the car with it having the sun at different angles, and have not yet removed the bad ones, so there are like 130.

original owner had a sunroof cut in because he couldn't get a 350 with t-tops.

and I also love L98's. one of the best looking engines GM has ever made (IMHO). next step is to clean up the engine bay. im kinda hesitant to hose down the engine bay.

its one of those 'guy i know and his dad' kinda paintjobs. they did the body work and prep work at his work garage, and they rented a paint booth to spray it. sounds sketchy, but the dad has been a body guy for ages, and came into town for the summer to do some side jobs. for what it was, and what I paid, they beat my expectations.

Looks great, I'll always love a clean 3rd gen. I'd like a black L98 88-90 T/A one of these days.
