Default looking to move from Dallas tx to Erie pa area

Hey guys wife and I are tired of Dallas to hot and traffic sucks. I lived in Jamestown ny area 13 years ago. I loved the weather and little town but didn't make a good living there. So Erie Pa has more to offer. My wife is a office manger for a ford dealership here in Dallas and been doing accounting work over 10 years. And I work in the auto repair business (transmission tech) over 9 years. We are looking to get some info about Erie Pa the goods the bads.

I hear u dprock. I just moved from San Antonio up here to Salamanca,NY. I wouldn't even consider moving back. It's to damn nice up here. Only thing I miss is the interaction with other gear heads and te ocassinal street race. But hell I'll drive to buffalo or Erie if need be for some night time fun

Salamanca is a very nice place. Are you right by the casino interstate 86/17 and 417. I lived in Randolph ny for a while which is just a few mins from Salamanca. Might wanna ask around when I lived up there they used to have get together at the river off of interstate 86 not fbody meet but trucks trying to cross the river.

Have you considered somewhere else in TX? Whatever you do.... don't consider NJ.

Yep dprock that's right where I stay. But I don't live on the reservation. I live just outside in the town of salamanca. Live on a farm headed out towards little valley. A about a mile or so from Haley's auto body.

Erie isn't too bad, but you will have to deal with lake effect snow which can be quite annoying. I have a friend that lives up that way. Like the other guy said don't go near Jersey it sucks. I will say that eastern Pa and western Pa are almost like two completely different states.

The baked goodies are so darn good. If you have kids there is a awsome icecream place in little valley I think it's located 219 / 242 area
