Default Tuner Locking Removal.

I have a blue/green PCM out of 03 Silverado in my Chevelle. I read the tune and removed Vats and when I saved it, HPT converted to a 1Bar enhanced and tuner locked the tune without me telling it to. I also read and liscensed the PCM from a friend's 99 Camaro and it has tuner locked that tune too.

What I need to know is there any way to convert my truck tune back to a standard tune and to keep the HPT from tuner locking all my tunes.

If you can read the tune from the PCM then it's not locked in any way.
You either don't have the license to modify it, or it may be a custom OS from another company

To avoid locking all your tunes, open any file, click EDIT - CALIBRATION DETAILS.
There is a lock with blue frame (left to the help button). You need to disable it, thats it.

Yeah I saw that, but it seems to OSmod lock any time I save a tune after a change.

If you are not applying a COS to the file yourself under the OS tab then the files you are reading out of the vehicles have already had a COS applied to them by someone else using HP Tuners. That's it. That is the only way a COS mod lock can happen.

even if it is tuner locked by you you can still use your hp tuner on it idk how you could have did a 1 bar enhancement without knowing because you have to do a write entire and to use the extra credit it pops up with a warning lable asking if it is what you want to do

It was not tuner locked, it was OSmod locked because of the application of the COS. I believe that after the COS was applied, that tune was saved over the original file and therefore, every iteration of the tune after that was OSmod locked.

No one seems to want to share their stock OS with me.
