Default Paint wheel well edges?

Pretty slow night at work so I was looking at the pic I posted below, and realized how much I don't like the white aroudn the wells. I'm talking about the metal/plastic painted edges of the fender and quarter wells. I hate the little rock chips and how fast the edges get dirty after I broke my back cleaning them. Doesn't help that my car is white either! I was wondering if anyone has painted them and if it'd look goofy black, since the edge behind the front/rear wheel is rounded and it'd kinda just stop.

Post pics or opinions if you have any!

I'd high light the areas im talking about in the pic but the work computer is slow as a mustang and won't let me open more than one page at a time

I have a white car myself and have the same problem with rock chips and things of that nature. I think someone should try it out with plastidip and see how it looks.

I did the whole wheel arch on my El Camino but it is 2 tone with black on the bottom and is a much more defined line; it looks OK but it is a little odd. I'd do it with plastidip first to see how you like it, I can't imagine it would look horrible but it could be weird on a Camaro.

My 2013 Mustang has 420hp. It hits 60 in 4.3 seconds and 1/4 mile in 12.7 seconds. Both about a second faster than my 2001 Formula and the same fuel mileage.

Thank you! Doesn't look too bad, bet it'd blend better and be hidden more if the car was lowered

+1 on the mustang joke... they have been "trying" to keep up... but we all know that Shelby is no match for the Z06.
its a joke...like saying we all have leather jackets and mullets.

if i was you, id just plastidip it whenever needed, bc if you paint it black...guess what...rock chips are going to make little specs and will make it look even worse. try WHITE plastidip and just keep it clean and respray when needed

I'm not hurt at all. It was just dumb. Like pointed out above, it's like saying all Camaro drivers have mullets and calling the late-4th-gen Camaro a Catfish (heck, look at Arctic Z's avatar).

Also, comparing a Mustang to a Corvette is dumb. They are not competitors. The Mustang is a competitor to the Camaro, Firebird, Charger (the first one), Challenger....

Its like saying a Heavy Weight Boxer can beat a Swimmer in a boxing match.

BTW, I still have the Formula and I'm not selling it. Its a more raw feeling than the Mustang. The Mustang is more comfortable, but the Firebird is more fun.

This post reeks of butthurt.

Anyways, OP, it would look better if you lowered it and did it, but I'd try Plasti-dip first as said above.

Um... nope. Just trying to spread the love.
I love both cars.
I just tend to get long winded.
Have fun carry on.
