Default Need options (w/ pics) of 5 spokes!

Guys, I'm researching wheels for my bright red formula but I have no idea what there is out there really. I know I want 17x9 or 17x9.5 all around. I'm thinking either polished silver, gun metal, or black, not sure what would look best. I prefer a nice 5 spoke design although I'm open to other designs as well (nothing as busy looking as CCWs or anything)

So far I know of the Torq Thrust M's which I like but I would kinda like something a little less common and lighter. I know of the ZR1 style, which isn't really my cup of tea either, not sure why, just isn't, and then the C6 style which is alright I guess, but I want some other options to consider.

I saw Sport Max XXR 962's but I've heard good and bad things about them as far as their finish quality.

Check out the rpm 505, I think that's the right number? and some of the BMW rims look good as well.

I've heard hit or miss things about BMW wheels because the bolt pattern is slightly different leading to some potential problems.

RPM 505's are a big no for me, they're too "busy" for me.

RPM's look amazing on red cars but a mesh wheel is "busy" and a pain to clean. But I love mine.

The C5's are alright, the issue I have with them is that those ones are 18's and the C5 style spokes are thin. The latter isn't a huge deal but between C5 or C6 I'd go with C6. I just looked at the C5 Z06 wheels, chrome or black. Not sure how those would look.

Not my car, got this off of Google, but I just bought these a few weeks ago. once i get back to Texas, Im getting them mounted. American Racing "Rebels". I love the 5 spoke design and wanted something that wasnt on every other fbody.Mine are 18x9 and 18x10.5 Unfortunately Ive heard they may be discontinued, as I bought mine used.

Those are quite nice. Damn 18's.

Main reasons I want to stay away from 18's are a) weight 2) not sure about tire sizes so keep stock speedo calibration

17s...meh. I think 18s should be the minimum nowadays unless you are taking it to the track. If you are worried about speedo calibration, either get tires with the same outside diameter or just recalibrate the tire size in your ECM with a plugin programmer.

Yeah I'm looking for something that will be good looking on the street and light enough for track duty as well if possible. I just don't like how big wheels look unless the car is designed to come with them from the factory.

I found a couple new ones that aren't 5 spokes that I like, what do you guys think?

I liked the ROH RTs that I had on my car before the Miros. These were 18" but I think they also make them in 17".

Imo silver 17x11/17x9 zr1 are the end all be all rim for red cars. But there's the occasional high end wheel that looks amazing too.

Best option for 5 spokes are c5dd 10.5 all around, dont worry about less common, everything has been done more than once, my fav wheel for birds is a tt2 with 11inch rears,no better wheels for the money,or look into forgestar

I have 8.5s for the front right now but I'll be getting 10.5s to go up there next season once I set the car up for autocrossing.

I went from stock 16s to 18 ROH RTs without any issues with ABS or speedo issues.

+1 on these. 17s exist but I only saw them in alloy trim.

People that have problems cleaning these wheels are probably washing their cars maybe only once or twice a month and driving through a bunch of muck.
