License Suspension?
Hey guys, just a quick question. I received a ticket about a year ago and being a student didn't have money to pay it all at once. I started giving small payments then forgot after about 3 months. Anyway, I was wondering if my license can be suspended or how long do I have or what I should do. I am trying to pay it but times are hard. Thanks everyone.

I think if just a traffic violation, long as you don't get caught in that county again nothing will mess with it. Not that the ticket will go away, but pretty sure you keep your license

That's what they say, and they can do that, but it very rarely happens. Usually just don't get caught with the warrant out or you'll be eating pb&j sammiches in the Harris County Hotel along with a bunch of fine upstanding citizens LOL

itll just go to warrant. and if you make another arrangement (payment plan, community svc, etc) and dont complete it, the warrant will be reissued as Capias. which means cash or your ***, pay it or sit it out.

you prob got a warrant out for you. i would get that paid asap. just fyi i believe if you car is registered in your name and if you have a warrant out for your arrest if a officer runs your LP it'll pop up. just fyi. i understand you might be strapped on cash right now but it'll be a lot worse if you end up getting popped for it.
