Default FI guys with ac in hot climates come in

So I have my griffin radiator stood up with the stock condensor in front of it like normal. I have the lower air dam and a factory shrouded dual puller setup off a 2001 saab 93 that fits like a glove.

In 90degree heat in traffic for an hour with ac on I get up to about 210 with a 160 thermostat.

When is hot to hot? What are you guys seeing in city driving,ac on and 90 plus outside?

No non ac cars please.

Alex

That's awesome yours stays that cool. I'd be happy with that. I have two fans on mine now and it keeps it in check. Procharged here with the 9" spal and stock large procharger fan

Im going to be doing more testing today and this weekend. I have an hour traffic ride home today and its 97 and really humid out. We will see

Procharged here as well, I run a Fmic in front of my condensor, in front of my stock radiator, with 16" & 9" zirgo fans pulling air and I run a needle above 210. This is on an 02 trans am. I feel the temps are still to high.

I check mine with a scan gauge. The stock one pretty much stays around 210.

In ~100 degree heat with just a 16" puller I get up close to 220 with the AC on after a while. Procharged here also. It didn't used to be so bad, but this past year has been worse for engine temps for some reason. This is with the stock radiator though.

Must be a really good 16 inch fan. Would it ever get over 220 or would you just shut the ac off at that point?

06 GTO stock radiator and fans in traffic On 100 deg day I see temps around 210/225 once I get the car moving she usually hovers around 205. 160 deg thermostat as well. If I never turn the AC on it wont get any hotter that about 195. Almost the same for my oil temps.

Ok left work after car sat in 95° temps for 10 hours. Sat in real chicago traffic for 45mins. Got to 226. After I got off the highway (stop then 5mph,repeat) and got on side streets and moving alittle it went to 217°. I read that a stock car has low fan kick in at 225 and high speed at 235.

So I think my temps are ok. With out ac it gets to about 200.
