I find the most useful to be Trans temp and Fuel pressure. Although the fuel press. gauge is about a $175, so you could just get an Air/Fuel ratio gauge to fill the hole until you find a gauge you really need.

I have purchased Cobalt gauges by Autometer. Light up blue @ night.
I have 3 gauges.
Top: Trans Temp
Middle: Air/Fuel
Bottom: Water Temp

I recommend getting Trans And Water Temps.
Stock water temp is crap, aftermarket is much more accurate.

Water temp is a must, I also have an A/F, and voltmeter due to several electrical modifications and the fact that my baby is a garage **** that sits on a trickle charger at all times. I used all Nordskog red LED guages that black out when off and match perfectly to the Pontiac red.

Someone over on LS1.com had problems with two of tha gages not lighting up the same brightness.

And I'm doing the same install (same gages) next week. Any pointers or instructions? I know about the Trans and water temp (fittings), but I'm not sure how easy the A/F is. Right to the PCM?

Thanks, Ski

All i did was run all three of the wires to the dimmer fuse in the fuse box. They all light up the same brightness. For the A/F i just ran it and spliced it into the purple wire on the pass. front 02 sensor.. !
