Default Questions about intake manifold upgrade

I'm just starting on upgrading my 99 T/A, and I was looking into upgrading to a LS6 manifold. My only questions are whether or not I would have to upgrade fuel rails and TB right away, or would I be able to wait to get some money saved up. Sorry if it's a stupid question, just figured it's better to ask then to go off what I think I might know.

Im pretty sure from the LS1 intake to the LS6 intake all the lines will fit. I believe the only difference between the two is that the inside doesnt have that ribbed texture on it. If you have the money to spend the money on a LS6 intake, maybe you should save a bit more and upgrade to the fast intake so you have room to grow.

Check the bottom to be sure its an LS6 intake before you buy. The vette LS1 manifolds can be passed off as LS6's.

Fuel rail is fine go ahead and port the TB.

Fast intakes are quite a bit more compared to the ls6 intakes. I don't want to spend a lot more money.

I wouldnt even bother with the intake until you have some other mods (headers, cam, tune, etc). Unless spending hundreds of dollars of your hard earned cash for 5-8 horse is worth it, its up to you.

Honestly first mods that are cheap are as follows. If its an auto get a stall. If its a manual get a set of headers. Do the intake later as the previous two mods are cheaper and less time consuming and will gain more power

You can get a LS-6 intake w/ a P&P TB For $450 thats worth it and you will notice the difference and the TB and rails will fit.

I agree with everyone else. i have full exhaust and LS6 intake if i had to do it again i wouldnt bother with the intake but i got it for 150$ in middle east so its almost nothing for its value. i cant say if i gained anything. you wont need anything it will fit right it. id do heards or stall if i were you. good luck.
