power window needs replaced
I need to replace my drivers side power window motor i need some tips advice and possibly a writeup and pics any help appreciated

My advice is to follow the link that was provided already:
It will come out perfect if you follow those instructions. Once you get the door panel off, and compare what you see in front of you to the pictures in that link, it will be very obvious where to drill the access holes.

I'd get a regulator with the motor on it and four GM rivets. Takes about an hour to do including taking the door panel off.
Dont. Just put the regulator assembly in and be done with it.

I wouldn't bother with regulator replacement unless the window isn't going up straight or sitting correctly in the door.

I replaced the driver's side motor on one of mine about 3 years ago. Original regulator works just fine still. Install was easy, the door has not crumbled from drilling access holes, and no horror stories have unfolded due to this repair.
This is good advice, and something I didn't remember to do last time I had the door apart. I will next time though.

i just ordered the XXXX kit didn't receive it yet
there's a whole kit for the price of 325$ two dorman motors with express down kits etc.
i guess you can find a single motor at ws6store too.
