Default Question about C2 hammer Cam

Does anyone know why it will not pass the emissions test. I am wondering because I am thinking about getting it. I am get TTS Headers for my car and they have Cats . So will that let it pass the emissions test. I have 99 TA

224/224 .581/.581 112

I live in St. Louis Mo (South County)

And does it lope pretty Hard

After some creative tuning with LS1edit you should be able to get it to pass. But with that lope, how do you pull in and say, "No sir, this engine has not been modified." <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

For emissions purposes, duration will kill you without tuning. A little tweaking and you should be fine. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Wont pass? eh? It will pass fine usually. Set up the idle a bit.

Bring the car in warn and running.. dont turn it off.

With cats... you should be fine.

Thanks alot. I think I am going to get it when my tax returns comes in. Hey MUSTANGEATER your right about asking question about LS1 stuff on FAST. The only good one to ask is TC and you.

You will be fine. Remember in St. Louis for all cars newer than 1996 you just have to take a computer scan. As long as your SES light isn't on you pass.
