Think you can ID this Cam?
Hello all,
I have scavenged this cam out of an LS1 that I picked up. I'm trying to find all the information I can about it. I assume that it may be a TSP 231/237 cam, but dont know how to verify. I have contacted TSP and was asked "Who cut it?". I do not know. I know nothing more about it then this stamp on the end of the cam and that the LS1 also had double valve springs and hardened push rods with it.
Can anyone guide me?
Thanks guys,
Mark

Thanks Matt. That's 2 saying the same so far.
I've got my short block together with the cam in now and didn't really want to pull it back out, but I'm considering it. I'll prolly contact the man thats going to tune it and see if he'll request more info on it.
Thanks again for you feedback guys.

We had Lunati cut some of our old 231/237 camshafts something like 7 years ago, but, unfortunately, I cannot tell you for sure that this is one of those.

Thanks guys for your responses.
I spoke with the person that will be doing my tune and he believes whats this will be enough information to tune my engine well. So I guess I'll just leave it alone.

I mean no offense, I've just never heard anybody say "just go pick up another $400 part. Too easy".
