Please make a video on changing spark plugs on ls1
Hi. I want to try to change the spark plugs on my 2000 TA. I have read many threads about how to change them. Some people say it takes 5 hours. Some say 45 min. I would like to see a detailed video for dummies of how this is done. Not in any hurry. I can do simple things myself but nothing complicated.

I swap plugs in about 35-40 minutes. I use copper NKG TR55's and change them about every 15,000 miles. Pay $1.96 a piece for them. But I relocated my coils 7-8 years ago. Which makes it much easier to do a plug swap to say the least. Maybe this link will help you figure it out.
PS I do numbers 1-7 from the top and number 8 from the bottom. Don't forget your dielectric grease and never seize. Good luck with your work.

PS Important!! If you pull those sharp pointed fastners that hold the rubber seal to the cowl up and out of the way you will not scratch your arms up. Best thing to do is ditch all that emissions crap that is in the way. I threw mine in the garbage 6 months after I bought the car on my first plug swap. Its dead weight. I've my car for 13 years and have over 250,000 miles on it now. Thats about 15-16 plug swaps. Needless to say I've had it figured out for a long time now....LOL

Changing Plugs on a F body LS1 just sucks, there is no way around it.

That video would be rated R....lots of cussing and throwing tools around......pissed off and 2 hours long.
LOL.......I got it down to about 45 minutes.....and absolutely zero struggling with anything. The key thing to do is to put the spark plugs in....and DO NOT TIGHTEN them down too much. All spark plugs need is to be put in HAND TIGHT....then with the ratchet a tiny little snug...thats all. I've been doing that for 14 years with my WS6 and never has a plug come loose or even begun to come loose.
Now when I do a plug change....they break free with almost no effort and no matter what the angle is they break loose easily. I can get my #8 plug out in about the same time somebody takes to get the front drivers side plug out. Takes me longer to lay across the engine, get my hand and socket to the #8 plug and get the small ratchet on the socket......then it does to get the plug out.....LOL
I do have LT's though...which makes things a little easier.
I always use anti-seize and I also glob a bunch of dielectric grease on the plug end and inside the spark plug boot end. I also glob some into the coil end of the wire.

Anyway, sorry I don't have a video for you but there is enough information on the install university link to walk you through the process. As you start working on it, things begin to make more sense and you kinda figure things out as you go.

I could make one that would **** lots of people off. 1st step, effortlessly reach in with socket and wrench and remove all spark plugs and replace. Helps when you have !AC, !Heater, !PS, !ABS, !AIR, !EGR, !TCS, +Headers. People say I'm crazy for deleting all that but then I say they are crazy for cutting themselves everytime they reach in their engine bay.
