Default new shocks, new struts

The car has the originals, 125k, and def needs replacements. Just wondering what you guys are running, its a daily driven highway car no track etc so I'm not looking for the best of the best. Just a quality reasonably priced. Any suggestions?

Bilsteins are the best quality shock for the money. I highly recommend them to all of our customers who primarily use their car on the street, everyday, or want a handling improvement on a budget.

Monroe Sensa Trac, half the price of bilstien and Made in the USA. I've used monroe for many years and they are a Good shock. Don't listen to all of the B.S. some of these guys say about them. They are the largest manufacturer of shocks/struts in the world.

I don't really agree at all on the Monroe shocks. The 98 T/A I just picked as my new DD has Monroe shocks on it and GMS lowering springs and it bounces all over the place. There is no way that the Monroe shock are up to the task of handling the lowering springs and it makes the ride quality complete crap. Like I said they are so bad I am going to swap the Monroe shocks out for a set of Bilstein shocks and our BMR springs. Here are the links for the Bilstein shocks off our website.

Bilstein front shocks

Bilstein rear shocks

I have been browsing around and so far everyone says bilsteins and for about $408 I guess that's pretty reasonable. Do you have to do four at once or can you do the back two then a few days later the fronts?

I know for sure that WS6store sells them either as a set or individually. Just make sure you get the rear specific ones if that's what you want to replace.

Thanks redbird, just went on and saw the set of 4 for 367$. And I was close to just going to autozone and grabbing the Monroe or gabrielles, glad I researched it.
