No Texans Thread This Year?
I am disappoint ls1tech... But in all seriousness, they are looking pretty damn good this year! JJ Watt is in full on beast mode, same with Owen Daniels imo.

^^^Agreed. Just waiting for a real team to show up so I can gauge if we are SB ready. Not gonna get too excited when the Texans put a beat down on scrub teams like Miami and Jacksonville, they are expected to win those games. If they are ready to make a serious run at a championship, they shouldn't be excited about beating them either.
The Broncos, Ravens, Packers, and Patriots later down the schedule will definitely show us if they are ready to go. They have all the pieces they need to beat these teams.

I was thinking the same thing last night. J.J. Watt has enough picks as it is. Those 4 picks Manning had yesterday, it almost seemed like the Falcon defenders were the intended receiver. Watt would easily double that if Manning has an encore performance. This is Manning we are talking about though, that game was a freak accident, the exception not the rule. He will be ready for us Sunday.

Also anxious but the texans have the better team no doubt. That isn't the old manning IMO. His ***** don't have the zip they used to have, and he can't throw the deep ball effectively without the arm strength he used to have. He's still smart, we just have to stick to the game plan and we should win this game by 7-10 pts.

What I was getting at was a Texans fan who knows the team, their stats, capabilties, plays, defensive schemes, doesn't get too excited over beating scrub teams, etc. would not be nervous to face the teams I listed.

Any real fan???? What the hell are you talking about? Its a ****** sport, its a job for the players and coaches. They dont care about the fans b.c they know eveyone already watches them play even if they suck. Its all about $$$. Keep thinking because you are a "real fan" you somehow have superiority over others who watch it as pure entertainment.

Lol so you basically get all warm and fuzzy because you know stats an what not. Cool story bro. You still sit on the sidelines idolizing over grown men over something you have zero controll over. Its pure entertainment and knowing stats does jack **** unless you are a school boy who plays "fanasty fooseball". Now run along a go bait to some replays on sport center.

We're all Texans fans guys. Chill out.
I expect Sunday's game to be a close one. After Monday night's game, I'm sure Wade Phillips is doing some master planning to attack and contain Manning. We have to make him hurry up and work to collapse the pocket. When he was hurried Monday, things didn't go well. I hadn't watched any of his performances this year before Monday night. I was very surprised to see his passes wobbling without the usual velocity. I just hope he's not able to shake the rust off in a matter of 6 days.
One thing I did not see in our game last Sunday was the old reliable bootleg. I'd like to see it 2 or 3 times this week. One thing Kubiak can't do is put it in neutral if we have a decent lead at halftime. Manning can and will come back on you if you do this. Seal the deal and burry them if you can.
Congrats to JJ Watt. He's this week's AFC Defensive Player of the Week
