We can help you with that
Our Stage 3 or 4 would work depending on a couple of factors. Call us and we can go over your combo and get a better feel for what you need.
You might also consider a 4L80E so you have overdrive for the top end runs.

A bunch waiting on the shipping truck to show up.
One of our unit's we're making some adjustments to after dyno testing for a customer. Vasco input shaft, aluminum forward drum, Griner billet aluminum valve body, cut for an Ultrabell, billet forward hub, and intermediate shaft.

I specialize in auto shifting TH400's for big power cars. I have my own VB design for these applications.
The TH400 cut for an SFI certified Ultrabell is one of our Stage 3's. It's good for 1000+ HP and in some applications would live at over 1500. Using the Ultrabell we can bolt a TH400 behind any GM application, almost all domestic combos such. As small block Furd, BB Furd, Mopar SB/BB/Hemi, and even some foreign engines.
That particular unit is actually going behind a Ford Modular Motor in a Cobra. We put it on the dyno and needed to pull the pump to adjust cooler line flow. On high HP combos we do some mods to the pump to prevent engine thrust bearing failure. Each one is a bit different and has to be adjusted.
We've been playing catch up since we moved the shop and everything is finally coming together.
