Rocker keeps coming loose.

Rocker keeps coming loose.
The rocker on the intake spring, #5 cyl. keeps coming loose. I'm using the bolts that came with the Comp Trunion upgrade.
It first happened when my friend helping put the heads back on after a cam swap didn't push the pushrod all the way down, meaning the lifter wasn't sitting on the cam all the way, which means the rocker didn't get tightened quite to spec, and it was turned sideways when we pulled the cover. We pushed the pushrod all the way down, and retightened the rocker. Drove it fine for a few weeks, and I heard a ticking last night. Pulled the valve cover and the same rocker is loose again. Should I just throw some red loctite on and hope for the best?

I've never known ANYONE to NOT put loc-tite on the bolts. Im about 99.9% positive the stocker rockers have something on them as well. In fact some people dont have any choice in the thread sealer running ported heads because part of the rocker bolt thread is exposed during port work and the only way to seal it then is thread lock.

Ive RnR my rockers probally 40 times, no joke. Never used any locktight. heads are stock.
OP are you sure the threads are fine in the head?
Somthing IS up if it happned again, in not just a random thing it happened in that spot after the 1st issue. I'd look at the bolt close it its stretched under the head, or something up with it. take the rocker stand off and look at it closely, it might be cracked or somthing, form running with it not set right. Same with the cam, lifter or lifter tray, but hope its on top of the head for a easier fix.
