Graphs to compare VRX3 vs VRX4 no heads
I am thinking about a cam for my C5 LS1 which I use for track racing (no straight line). My car has: Z06 heads, intake and MAF, ARH headers, LS7 clutch and 3.90 stage two rear.
I would like to work with Vengeance so I am hesitating between VRX3 and VRX4.
Do you have any dyno graphs to share so I can compare curves : VX3 or VRX4 LS1 or LS6 heads?
Thanks.

Look like more road course oriented than
VRX4 Camshaft 228/230 .588/.592 112 LSA
more drag strip oriented...
Et non, je n'ai pas de resultat de banc...

Merci Christian.
Got the graphs, from Vengeance. This is basically what they say : differences are minimal. VRX4 gets a little bit more power and a choppiest iddle.
Cars were stock except for cams.

- Significant difference in behavior on throttle opening
- Significant power and torque difference
- One of those will ease the car on turn exit and uphill
- One of those might produce more speed by the end of the main straight (and that's not obvious at all as the exit turn speed is to consider)
- One of those will have a low impact on tire management
- One of those will have a significant impact on brake management.

Considering Dijon Prenoix, my bet is that a VRX3 type vs. a VRX4 type will make your car and lap time better especially in "Les "S" des sablieres", exiting "le gauche de la Bretelle", on throttle application of "La Parabolique", the whole "Virage de la Combe", and a so much better acceleration in "La Courbe de Pouas" going uphill to the start/finish line...
Nonetheless, I know gentlemen drivers racing their Z06 in SCCA events, and they are running different camshaft profiles than the one's you mention for the Road Course events...
A toi de voir!

Plus those two cams are using XE-R lobes (by the specs), which I would never ever recommend to use on sustained revving 4 time a days during 30 minutes to 45 minutes session around a race track...
But again, chacun voit midi a sa porte.
