Default Which Would You Choose?

Well, my stupid ford contour crapped out, little did I know the wiring harness on those cars was faulty, and the protective sheathing melted, causing things to short out when it rains. I am now contemplating a new daily car, and am looking at an '05 ford focus, and an '05 kia. Anyone had experience or currently drive either? Which would you be more likely to go with? Thanks for the input.

I daily drive a 2005 focus, beat on it pretty good, seats 4. Good on gas. No issues here.

If I'd have to choose between only those two, I'd go with the Focus. Not just big fan of Kia/Hyundai at all.

If given my own choice in a particular price range, I wouldn't choose either one. But I guess that's beside the point here.

I've heard some positive and negative on both, so I was curious what other's actual experiences were. Only reason it is those two, is they are at a dealership that can get me in a car the way I have to have it done...

Never been attracted to Saturns in any way. Have never considered owning one. They do absolutely nothing for me.

That doesn't necessarily mean they are bad cars, of course.

they aren't that looks-appealing, which is not relevant, just needing a simple car that is good on gas mileage and long-term dependability, especially since I drive quite a bit delivering pizzas as a part-time job. just thought I'd throw another possibility in the mix and see if there was anyone with experience with a saturn or knew someone who had good or bad luck with one.

More importantly, what price range are you considering? There may be better options.
