Buddy of mine came up to TNT this week, looking for 10s on the bottle. Well, he tried spraying it out of the hole on a 150, didn't hook and it was a terrible pass. Second pass he put it on a 200, ran a 10.82 @ 129. Third pass he borrowed a full bottle and NANO kit from a friend who got the boot for running too fast, so he upped it to a 250, pulled a couple degrees of timing (couple gallons of race gas in the tank as well) and ran it one last time. We found out afterwards that it melted a plug, he thinks it was most likely on the first pass when it was all over the limiter. so keep in mind the final pass was on 7 cylinders...

weight reduction (~3050 w/o him)

Still didn't 60' well but he's going to get some suspension and build a motor for it.


Oh and yes, it smokes it *** off, but it literally won't blow up whatever he does. He has tried a couple times to, but it just smokes a little more and keeps on kicking haha.

I love builds like these. From my perceptive, it's all about taking the stock engine to its limits.

Did he change the ring gap?

Keep hitting a stock shorty with a 250 shot and this engine will find it's limits quickly! The ring lands aren't going to like that one bit.
Impressive though for sure. We all know what the LS1 will do with a ton of spray.

Suspension would sure do this car alot of good. Was this done through a nozzle or plate? i hope not lol

Cam only longblock with ls6 intake, full suspension, yank ss4000, 3.23 gear'd 10 bolt @ ~3240 lbs and a 150 shot i did a best of 10.57 @ 128 1.47 60'.

Trapping 134 would easily get some single digits if it'd get out of the hole lol

Wasn't there a guy on here a couple years ago that forgot to put the jets in and was spraying it. I think I remember him asking if he should up it to a 100 shot before discovering it.

its awesome when you find a buddy posting a video i thought would never make it to tech lol that was a pass i really wanted to blow the motor up and just wouldnt go i beat the hell out of this motor for 10k miles and just kept smokin ran like **** till it got cleaned out it went 10.8 at 128 on a 15 and 10.6 at 128 on a 200 and a 10.4 at 134 on a 250 the rings were gapped and had new bearings and rings and rod bolts thats the only mods in the short block it will be forged with a 300 shot and full affco da all the way around should weight around 3000lb with me in it this time looking for 9.70s
