Corvette Accessories, VVT, and Holley Spacer
Has anyone tried using the Holley spacer with the corvette accessories on a VVT motor? Looking at the Holley accessory bracket PDF it looks like it might work.
Several on here have used indivdual spacers but I like the idea of a spacer plate since it seem like it would be a little stronger. I don't have access to a mill or I'd make one.

I'm going to run VVT with C5 alt/ps 2010 camaro waterpump with homemade spacer. It has not run yet but sure looks like it will be fine.
Whoops mis-read, no access to Mill

I will need to see what we have laying around, normally don't have 1 1/2" stock, My was cut on a waterjet. I can mount the 2009 express van mount and a/c compressor (lower right side) without any mods, unsure compressor will work aftermarket a/c system.

Not familar with the VVT setup, but if you are trying to get the Vette mount to line up with a truck water pump, I would use the Holley spacer. Their manual shows how they make one mount (Vette style and length) work with the different water pumps.

Yep, the holley spacer works fine with the vette acc and VVT. Just bolted mine up a couple weeks ago. Not running yet though. Machined my own out of plate and then ended up getting the Holley AC brkt and spacer kit that came with spacers for both the AC and acc so I swapped the Holley in for mine. This is on a LY6 in a 2nd gen.

Nothing laying around, Sorry. Looks like the Holley spacer is the way to go.

I got the spacer tonight and it's machined to fit the stands on the Holley bracket and has a ridge along one side. Also it looks like the point that goes up toward the alternator will hit the reinforcement ridge if the edge was taken off. By the way the spacer is 1.585 thick on the flats without adding the machined edge.

Crap! I didn't. In my haste to get it bolted up somehow I totally missed that step. Took a good look at it and the entire lip doesn't need to come off. File it down near the holes where it contacts the bosses on the vette bracket and a little touch where it may contact the ridge once it does sit flat.
