Default Turbo 400/350 swap for m6 !!!What am i getting into?!!!

First of all I know there's threads on here about this swap but no matter how I search I keep getting bits and pieces. Its an 02 z28 and although a turbo 400 or 350 is over kill at the time. I am building the drivetrain to hold power for future plans. The car currently has a built 6 speed and a aftermarket clutch (supposedly to hold big power) but I just hate the inconsistency of a manual. Which is why I want an auto swap. Does anyone have the thread to a complete step by step? Or does anyone want to explain what parts and how much money I'm expecting to spend? Any help would be appreciated.

P.s I posted this in the Texas members so I can get local information. Such as what places here in Texas carries the parts, ect ect.

Thanks
Tommy

The cost is going to depend on what you spend on parts. Some times you can find killer deals on everything but here is a average run down on price.

Good built Turbo 400 $700/$1k
Decent stall $300/$500
Spacer for stall $40.00
Shifter $100/$200
Trans Cross member $175.00
Driveshaft $200.00

I'm sure im forgetting something, its too early in the morning to really be thinking...

Transmission, crossmember, tranny cooler, lines, dipstick, converter, shifter, driveshaft.

You'll have to tap into a wheel sensor to get the speedo to work again.

better yet there is an adapter you can buy (ill have to find the link)
that pig tails off your t56 speed sensor and adapts to ur th400. I believe its a 44 tooth gear set you want internally in the th400

Maybe 2 lunch deals. LOL I'll let you know when I decide to do the swap. I'd like to sell the 6 speed stuff first if possible. So if you know anybody looking for a built 6 speed and clutch swap. Send em my way.

Thanks. The car has an aftermarket torque arm (not sure about brand) but is there any modifying needing to be done for that torque arm to fit back in a correct location?
