Default New (to me) 1999 Bird

Hello all,

After a long period of time since I sold my beloved 1999 FRC Vette, I am back in a LS car.

I found this 1999 TA with very low miles (59K), from a one (middle-aged) owner and a very good condition interior with everything in proper working order. It is auto which was a compromise in my part but it was in such good condition I could not say no. It came with a Borla exhaust and a lid

I am happy to see that the forum community is alive and well and I am already refreshing my LS knowledge by reading all the stickies.

I am attaching some pictures I have (Blackberry quality I am afraid).

Cheers !

Those are the ones to find. They are out there and it is worth paying a little extra (if necessary) to find them in this condition. That T/A has well over half it's life still ahead of it. Have fun with it!

Haha, this story sounds familiar! Bought a white '01 WS6 a year and a half ago with 42500 on the OD. Look at my pics in my profile and you'll see why I say familiar.

Edit: Congrats by the way...these cars are a blast, and still turn heads.

Thank you all for the very kind words.

I have already finished the following items just to make sure I am up to date:

- New engine oil and filter
- New trans oil and filter
- New coolant with a touch of water wetter
- New rear end oil, seals and one bearing (passenger side one was worn as usual)
- New fuel filter

After seeing such amazing cars on this place I know that I have a lot of ground to cover in performance and appearance but good basic maintenance is always a priority.

....and if the power steering fluid and brake fluid were never done, add those to the list.
