Default TX Miles Grid Photos

For those who couldn't make it out this year I got plenty of photos from grid.

I miss the exotics that used to come out...otherwise it was fun turnout. The domestics were in the house.

Enjoy.

Kelly Bise Camaro

And the Ford that beat it by 1/10 of a MPH.

These two cars are simply amazing.

I had no idea the twin turbo Camaro's front end was so high up in the air. Look how much air is underneath it while it goes through the timing trap.

Yea, It seems that car has just about topped its ability in its current form of aero. It's making plenty of power. I have a feeling that just working on aero will get a much better speed. The front end was way up and slammed hard once the chute was deployed.

Definitely killing itself on aero at the big end. Imagine how fast it would have gone if the nose stayed down on that pass. It seems they need to reduce the angle on the rear spoiler, tighten up the rear shocks, and maybe put limiters on the front shocks.

Check out how high the front end is at the finish. Looks like it is ready to lift off.
