Rear End Blow
I just blew my rear end attempting to do a burnout My theory wasnt the burnout, more of the high speed abuse it takes daily is why I think it blew. Its sitting in the driveway waiting to get towed. The ring and pinion completely exploded too many pieces to count. Should I upgrade in the morning or go with a stock replacement.

For 95% of people who haven't already upgraded the 10-bolt tossing the idea of simply upgrading to a $2500+ rear end isn't a possibility.
It is easy to spend someone else's money.
OP - if you don't have the change for a 9", S60, 12-bolt, etc., just have the rearend rebuilt. Add a girdle and hope for the best. It'll probably cost you $500+ - alot of money still but it will get you going again.

Either replace it with a stock rear end or upgrade to a built 9inch.

High speed doesn't kill the differentials. It's shock to the driveline. If you want to make it last, ease up on the street abuse. These 10-bolts are pretty much made of glass. Part of the reason why these cars were so affordable when they were new.
