Head is coming off
So i have a bad water/coolent leak so i have to pull the head off.

im thinking i should just pull the other head off and replace the both head gaskets since the car has about 140K miles, My question is what else should i replace while im already gonna have the heads off? not trying to do anything crazy i drive the car a lot and trying not to spend lots of cash.
Thanks

I would have the heads vacuum tested at a machine shop and have them shave a couple thousands off to make sure they seal to the block decks well. Throw in a new set of ls7 lifters and new trays while the heads are off. Some new Gm MLS gaskets, and I would pull the water pump off and do the gaskets while the coolant is out.
You also could get in to the timing cover and do a ls2 timing chain and oil pump but that's up to you on how far you want to get in to this motor.
