I'm running a vic Jr and a 4150 with a Wilson plate. Trapping over 140 in the 1/4

Whiteltone has a vic jr, went 9.19@148, and it's been 150.. Carb'd with a plate.. It fit without cutting the cowl too bad, but you would never be able to adjust the rear float bowl. With a 4150 throttle body like Thad, should fit no problem.

Not a fan of the elbow or cutting the car. I say stay with the LS intake or go with a 4150 so there is very little cutting of the cowl.
