Default thinking of some new wheels an tires

so right now my current tires on my camaro are 225/60/16.

and its got some stock wheels they look ugly lol!!

so i found some i think i might be intrested in new tires and wheels.
the wheels are z06 replicas from oewheels

http://oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/Whee...heels_Tires136

i like how they look the tires that come with the set of wheels are
275/40/17 should or will they rub anywhere is this a good size tire?
will be some street play but thats about it for now no drag strip runs or anything yet

That's the stock size on a 17 inch wheel, you'll be fine.

I vote saving up a bit extra and going for something besides a heavy cast replica wheel. I would go 17x11 in the rear and a 17x9 in the front if you want to go with a 17" combo.

Go with a drag setup unless its an everyday car. I'm getting billet specialties

That place has some great deals on wheels and tires. I wonder how heavy those wheels are...like dr tran was saying. Then again not everyone has the money for forged wheels.

Heavy cast replica is more than fine for what he wants, there is nothing bad about oe wheels, nice budget wheels,ya get what ya want but the only oe wheel i would buy in the c5dd,might pay a lil more going for 18s but its worth it,

How much is a set of 18x10 oe wheels? My forgestars were $1500 shipped for 18x9 and 18x10. Completely worth it over oe wheels imo. My 10 wide rears weigh in at ~21 lbs.
