Guys with transbrake's and lingenfelter 2 step got some ???
Just curious on how you have yours wired up. My jake's 4l80e should be showing up here sometime in the future and need to see how you have it wired up to help my buddy out. Another thing he said in the instructions from lingenfelter that I need to run different wires and plugs according to it? What plug wires are you guys running? Plug suggestions? Car has a GT88 on e85 with a 3bar. ERL built 402 so going to turn her up till something breaks. Thanks for the help in advance.

Gotta be careful, I believe the Jakes 80e brake uses the tbrake solenoid to engage the 2-3 shift or the 3-4 shift, so you need to have the t-brake wired with a diode to prevent it from activating the 2 step when that occurs.

yep, i'd probably run a relay either way. in fact, on my setup i have a relay to ground the t-brake noid and a separate relay to ground my 2 step. its a poor mans 3 step since i use both the t-brake switch and my brake light switch to energize the 2 step relay, i bump into the first bulb and get on the 2 step on footbrake, then bump second, grab t-brake and let off footbrake all the while staying on the 2 step. (i'm on a glide though so not sure about the 2-3 shift thing i mentioned, just thought i'd read it somewhere)
