IMO no, they don't. I have 3pt bolt in that are welded, they did nothing, but that being said I already fixed the actual problem, the shitty stock shocks.
If you want a solid, stable car that feels planted and well behaved you need good shocks, period.

I have not done SFCs yet. Dont know if I will.
MWC says if you do them make sure they are welded.

if you are drag racing, subs are essential...anyone who says different has no idea what they are talking about. just like you said...the drivers side lifts up and twists the car...

Oh, and typically tubular for better ground clearance, and boxed will kill about 1/2" of clearance.. not really that big of a deal, IMO.
3pt is a tad bit more rigid, but 2pt works fine if you're on a budget.. nothing wrong with them though. Still just as effective.
Dude... Seriously........... Do it.. I was reluctant to buy them too, but was floored at the difference.
FWIW: I added my SFC's after my spring/shock install and it was still a night and day difference.

^ I couldn't believe that it even effected braking performance! Un-fricking-believable difference. And before them when I would spin em from a roll, the car was rather unpredictable.. After SFC's, it would spin straight and was much more predictable and was more controllable. Get it loose and a degree or two off center, then just gently crack the wheel over to the other side and she would slide right over and straighten out. Such a difference in control.
