Default New Wheels, almost on..... uh ohhh?? UPDATE WHEELS ON(PICS)

Hello all,

Well i picked up these ZR1 Replica wheels from OE Wheels LLC. Great looking wheels cant wait to get them on. Did a test fit and well, here are the pics.

Question, will i need spacers for the front. I know there is a gentlemen over on Ls1Gto who is running C6 17ins with no issues.

Heres the rims specs. I did my research before buying them, and did realize they might need spacers upfront. Anywho let me know your opinions, i might be a little paranoid.

WHEEL SIZE: 17x8.5
WHEEL OFFSET: 49
BOLT PATTERN: 5-120.65
HUB SIZE: 70.3
BACK SPACING: 6.68

Thanks,

Greg

+49? I usually see between a +45 and +35 on an 8.5" front. That test fit is on a completely uncompressed suspension too, as soon as you put it on the ground it's going to get even closer to the strut.

It needs a 10mm spacer in my opinion.

I was going to say it would depend a lot on tire size. What brand and size tire did you go with?

Well I got the tires on a black friday sale at firestone. They are 245/45/17s and are firehawk wide oval indy 500s.

Very good tire for grip and they are quiet. Once they wear out Ill be moving up to 265/275 series tire.

Thanks for them complements fellas. Today Im going to take it on the highway and road test it.

My last tires were Firehawk Wide Ovals and I loved them. Great traction and wear. I tried Nitto NT05s this time as Firestone dropped the 285/17 I was using.

Did you ever get those wheels on? I have 8.5" +56 C6 replica wheels up front just fine with 6mm spacers (ends up at +50). So your +49 should fit just fine without any spacers.
