Default 1991 Nissan 300zx, LQ4, 4L60e Build

First off I would like to thank ls1tech for all the valuable information in helping me get some ideas and figuring out different stuff to get my 300zx on the road.

Thought I would share my build. Here's all the details on my 300.

1991 300zx
Junkyard 6.0 LQ4 Engine (pretty much stock for now)
CTS-V Exhaust Manifolds
Greddy Dual Exhaust (True dual from manfolds back)
Built 4l60e Trans
Custom Engine Mounts and Trans CM/Mount
Corvette C5 Fuel Filter/Regulator
Walbro 255 Pump
2005 Escalade PCM
Custom Wiring Harness
Custom Driveshaft
Custom Aluminum Radiator/Fan

My goals are in the near future is to throw in a 224 (or similiar size) cam in, nothing to radical and build a custom t76mm Turbo Kit (Vcious04 is a close friend).

Here's a pic of the engine bay.

Small burnout video!!

HOW ABOUT BUILD THREADS showing what mounts y'all are using. I always loved the looks of those 300 Zx's. What years is that body style used?

thanks,
Jim

Did you have to move or modify the k- member or fire wall? Did the trans fit on the tunnel?

I would definitely would do it on a 240. I did a sr20 swap on a 240 and, would have to say I would go the LSx route more power for the $$.

The top of the radiator looks pretty tiny. Hope it can cool the engine now and after the future mods.

Sweet.

Sounds like a NARLY miss on the video you posted but, maybe its just the camera or my work PC acting a fool. Either way, cool beans.

Check plug wires before you check anything else for the reason of the misfire(s).

The radiator is actually believe it or not out of a 1995 honda civic ,it cools fine. I don't have any a/c or heater.

I don't know if you hang out with any of the Z guys up there, but I am sure there are a few that will be coming down for it. Get her running! I am looking forward to seeing her in person.
