project 1951 chevy fleetline ls1 (aka BOOSTLINE) i just thought i would put up a thread on this very cool build. I poste in the newbie section as well. This is a 1951 chevy fleetline. My dad drag raced one of these in the late 60's to early 70's. His then had a dz302 muncie 4 speed. I bought this shell out of a chicken coupe in atlanta georgia. I then purchased a very lightly damaged z28 camaro for the ls1,wiring and everything. Car only needed bumper cover and fender. Anyhow i am doing a twin turbo setup. I have already installed a heidts mustang II front suspension with powersteering. Rearend is a 9" ford and without cuttin any inner or outte quarter panels we can get a 325/50/15 on 12" rims. This is a complete ground up build. Hopefully we have body off frame end of january so we can start body work.

U guys have some cool builds to. This car was rough we already put quarters,tailpan,section of trunk in it. This car will make easy 800rwhp for cruising with ac. This will be a slow build as we run a shop and this and my radial car don't get much attention. Let me know what pics and I will take them thanks guys
