Default twin 6165 vs. twin 6162

Hello i want to know if anyone has any personal experience or input on those turbine sizes as twins. On3 utilizes the 65mm turbine and cx racing uses the 62mm turbine and both turbos have a 61mm compressor. I know the 65mm turbines will spool fine but my real question is if the 62mm turbine on the cx racing turbo will become a restriction. The cx turbos are only $500 and the on3's are $650 and they are both the same Chinese stuff anyway. I'm probably going to push this setup for 8-900hp max. This is going in a s10 with lq4 and th400.

The 62mm turbines will get you to 900hp, I would give those a shot.

The 62's will definitely get you to 900.

You will spool those 62s alot better and have faster response than the 65s.

Awesome its a street truck so i think its going to be allot of fun with fast spool. If people are making over 1000whp with 6262's i think i should be just fine. Thanks guys

Yeah I mean for heavy vehicles as for almost any vehicle looking to get quick response from the snails is the main objective. Youll be more than fine on that S-10

Is it really noticeable in spool time between the 61mm and 65mm? I just got one of my cx racing 67mm's with a 65mm turbine.

Not really, it isnt really noticable to me. Just a faster spooling will be received from the 62mm.
