Default 99 ws6 ls2 6.0 trans am

Whats up guys i really need help figuring out, why my 99 ws6 trans am is misfiring i replaced almost everything i went from a 5.7 to a 6.0.Engine has been fully rebuilt by karios in mercedes tx everything is new from oil, spark plugs, 10mm spark plug wires, etc... now i have a scanner for ob2 computers so im able to pick up the code p0300 now i want to know whats causing it to pop up. I also deleted my egr system and air pump, would that effect my car or do i have to get my pcm tuned first?

Did you use an aftermarket camshaft? The misfire data probably needs to be modified to match your new engine. If you check with a data based scan tool, you need to see if the misfires are on all cly or just on one specific.. Does the engine sound smooth?

no i did not use an aftermarket camshaft i used the same one from my 5.7.The code is p0300 so i dont know which one is misfiring. and yes the engine is smooth but i know its not 100%. there is no knocking on the engine. and like i said ive replaced almost everything even the fuel filter.engine still misfires. if anything it could be my battery.reason for this is cuz now a days everything is computerized so a bad battery could be the problem

With a decent scan tool with enhanced pids, you can look at each cly misfire directly and record the history and current for them. That would determine if it is a real problem or not. If it is all the cly misfiring, then maybe you just have to do a crank position relearn, or maybe a bad ground, or fuel pressure, If it just one or 2 cly showing the issue, then spark plug is bad or wire is not plugged in all the way. "could be bad spring, but check the easy stuff first"
