Default Post up Turbo Exhaust pics

Like it says... there is plenty of pics that I've found that shows everyone's turbo set up pics, but nothing of the exhaust running out of the car from the turbo. Doing this to give people an idea of how to run your own exhaust or the possible options for it. TIA

I wouldn't want to run into to him at a stop light. My doors would surely be blown right off and if I'm on the pass side of his can I would have a melted fender. Lol

Same here... I know some states have it as a law that your exhaust must exit out of the rear of the vehicle behind the passenger compartment... Plus it would make it seem more sleeper-ish...

2.25 or 2.5 cross over I can't remember and then 4" off the turbo into 2 3" pipes and out the back through magnaflows and obviously a 4" elec cut out

FWIW it only made like 8 HP difference between the cut out and through the tail pipes

Agreed, specially if the car sees a lot of street use could be a bigger risk of getting pulled over by a cop for having a exhaust pipe coming out of your fender lol I would love to do something like that but im risking getting pulled over.

Here's mine, done by Nate at one-guys-garage. 4" from the pt88, through the Bmr turbo kmember, into an oval 4" 90 bend, then back into my 3.5" cutout in the standard location, followed by the SLP 2OTL muffler. Can't wait to hear it once I get the engine back in. I might try to see if we can put a 4" cutout closer to the front somewhere though. The downpipe is all wrapped back to the 90 degree bend as well.

The 4" will flow about 20% more than the dual 2.5". Dual 3" will do about 10% more than 4".

So basically what your saying is a 4in dp split into dual 2.5 in pipes won't hurt me all that much on a 800-900 whp car?

Not saying it is this linear but 20% reduction of 900 hp would be 180hp! Just like getting more air in, once it is in it has to get out. Could also hurt spool if you increase backpressure.
