are you buying a new one? when you get it new, the bowtie is not attached, which allows you to easily paint it whatever color you want before sticking it to the grille.

If you need a new bowtie, in one of the other threads a while back someone said thee grill bowtie from one of the chevy trucks was the same size, i think the S10, but not sure

What this guy says!!!! The emblem comes separate from the grill when new. Paint it whatever you like.

6LE might be able to help as well. I know they sell the billet grill with like either red or blue bowtie, maybe you can just buy the blue bowtie off them, then get an slp grill. Or emblempros as stated above

While we're on the subject of SLP grilles, anyone know what part it is that holds in the grille? What are the plugs?

The blue "stick on" bowtie that you want is off of a Cavalier, like 1998-2000. We used to do this mod to the 94-96 Impala SS.

Do you have any pics of the bowties that you've made for the SLP grille?
How much are they?

The SLP style of bowtie is not straight, it has an actual angle to the way it is made even when it it in the flat position. We had a customer send us a real SLP bowtie, and that is the pattern we use.
We have probably made 30 of them, and I depend on customers to send me installed pictures back, since we do not have this bumper here.
The last one I made was for current build on a car on this forum.
I have been looking for pictures, especially because he asked for something we had never done before.

Basically we have different stainless finishes, and a lot of different colors we can make them in. We ship them flat. All the customer needs to do is bend them prior to applying them to the car. I will see if I can hunt some pictures down. I think I have some stainless ones.

Thanks, Roger
