Default what pulley do i need now going to sdce

picked up an 8 rib sdce setup and right now i have a 6 rib setup from procharger . so its got the 6" bolt on crank pulley and a 3.0 pulley . i was making 6 lbs max and tapering to 4-5 . i assume belt slip . So doing the math with a 7.25 pulley on the crank with the sdce i come out with a 3.625 pulley . That cant be right. can it . I have a stock engine , ls6 intake and headers thats it , shifting at 6k . I must need a much larger pulley than that ?

My D1 charger with SDCE's 7.25" crank pully, 3.7" blower pully makes about 10#'s. If that helps.

Also did you get the tool to set the spring tensioner ?

no tool , guy said a screwdrivers works fine . ill find out

anyways i was cross multiplying to figure it but to stay the same i think now i need a 4.25 . a 6 crank with a 3 pulley to a 7.25 with a 4.25 crank keeps its the same . does sdce or anyone have a breakdown of belt lengths either .

Give wendy a call at SD concepts she'll help you out. Might want to see how much the tool cost, It's a pain in the *** the first couple of times you set the tension.
