LS Swap book update
Hey guys, it has been a while sine we did the LS swap book for CarTech. I am working on an update for the book, I would like to get some new projects in there.
This time we are focusing on non-traditional swaps-
Mustang Fox, SN95
Euros
Japanese cars
Jeeps
I need hi-res pics, with good detail shots of what you did and why. Cellphone pics are not good enough. Please email me at Jefferson@bryantmedia.us with a couple of sample pics and description of the vehicle and powertrain. I am looking for a several projects, so hit me up asap!

Not sure how many chassis' you can fit in the book, but I would recommend the GM C/K Trucks as well. These have become very poplular in the past year since there are a ton of them out there for minimal money or people already have them and want more power and better fuel economy.

Can kind of see what you mean, compiling then profiting off the (freely given) work and advice of so many here is kind of counter to the sense of community, but then again I doubt anyone is going to buy it thinking it will be that useful. Hopefully it at leat mentions the sites and builds that provided them their material. We'll see I guess. Having said that, books are a static medium and this is a dynamic hobby so the comparison to bathroom **** isn't totally fair. I was actually thinking of buying it (unless it's printed overseas) just so I could read it in the bathroom. I'd rather spend $15 or whatever on this (assuming it's in color) than blow it on three issues of some ad-filled sponsor driven magazines.

if you bought it, then you would see it was full of 'buy this $1200 set of headers' and this other super duper overpriced and unneeded crap. I got zero help from it. The info was totally sponsor driven, thus the reason it was shrink wrapped before purchase. Most of these swaps can be done from regular Ls parts if planning is done up front.
Stick to the threads here and let the author troll elsewhere to help his publishing enterprise.

I also love the personal PM's about advice and punching people in the face.
If you dont like the criticism, dont sell a book titled how to fit an ls into almost anything. they call it truth in advertising. if you dont want feedback from disgruntled buyers, dont troll here for free information.
last time I checked, this aint the oprah show. We share opinions, if your feelings get hurt sorry. I have an ice pack for your vag.

I got a 1977 carbed ls6 running a TKO-600 and manual clutch linkage (using original Z-bar) with Hooker sidemount headers.
and a 1985 mustang running a 408 LS mated to a TH400 running a 98 vette computer with drive by wire if interested.

well, i wouldnt say there are a lot of 66-67 novas out there. most of them use an aftermarket front end. of course they are out there no doubt. but so is every vehicle listed and in the book already. its not that there are a lot or a few. the fact is its an x body and there are no xbody cars in the book or in his list. so i offered it before i start so i can take nicer pictures if the OP is interested. not you. thanks
