Killed by a Hyundai....
I was at a red light on the right side of a double lane road. An SUV was on my left completely blocking my view. The light turns green, and I wait an honest two full seconds before even moving.
I start going and out of nowhere a white Hyundai Accent blows through the light and drills my front bumper, I couldn't even see it coming because of the damn Explorer next to me.
Luckily no one was hurt and her insurance is paying to get me a new hood and bumper. Still got killed by a Hyundai though....

That sucks dude. I was the picture and thought the hood..... Looks fine?
Until my stupidity left and I remembered it was all one piece lol.
Hell, it's a excuse to get the whole car repainted

Yeah luckily for me the guy that appraised the damage is a vette owner, hopefully i'll be all set. It could have been much worse, if i left the light earlier she would've hit my door.
Even worse so, i could have been killed my juice's mom's sonata...

Thats real shitty. But it sounds like you're really lucky also. At least the other driver was insured. I had an old man in a old Toyota pickup rear end my Camaro a few years back. I was yielding to oncoming traffic coming onto a bridge. Old man river ended up having no drivers license, no insurance, was driving his "sons" truck, and to top it off had cataracts on both eyes.
I was hoping to hell you didnt lose to a Hyundai, but this is much worse than a loss. Hopefully the Vette will be back on the roads soon and you'll be writing up another kill story.

It could have been worse. It could have been a turbo sonata with 4 passengers and 87octane. You would have possibly ended up in the emergency room after that kill.
Sorry to see that man, hopefully all will be fixed and you'll be good to go.

Thanks for your support guys.... I'm guessing there's about $5,000 worth of damage, I'm really hoping they don't total the car. I'd be devastated if they did. Insurance does not know how much this car is worth; hopefully the guy who inspected the damage helped me out because he's a Corvette guy too
