Default Good deal? 2000 Ws6

My friend has a black 2000 Tran am Ws6 with 93k miles. It has black leather, t tops, pretty much all the options. It's a 6 speed. It has a flow master catback exhaust only. It also has a Pioneer 4400 in it with a $1000 sound system. I had a 2002 but just kind of curious what very body thinks about the miles, reliability ( ), an price of the buy. He said he would sell it to me for $9250.

Depends on your area, but around here that's 8k tops from a private seller. I would expect his price at the dealer.

That's about right for asking prices in my area for a random private seller. I would say $8,000 would be more like a "friend" offer lol

I appreciate the feedback guys! Sold my 2002 with 64k miles for $13,000 with 4 hail dents!! to buy a motorcycle.. To say the least I miss my TA! I don't think I'm going to go for it just from the firs few people said its not a great deal. I'll keep my eyes open. It seemed fair way up here in South Dakota.

Agree with most, $8000 is the max from a private dealer imo. I bought my SS with 70K for 10 at the dealer.

Isn't anyone going to ask about the car's condition or history??
tylerstransam, how about some details instead of telling us about the radio system. Is the Carfax OK? Any maintenence history? What does the car need now? Tires, brakes, clutch OK? How many owners? Did your friend drive 'pedal to the metal' constantly? This car could be a real 'money pit' at $9,250. If you want serious feedback, we need details.
