Oil Supply/Return Locations for LS2 Turbo?
Hey everyone I was wondering if someone could help me out. I've owned and drove many turbo jdm vehicles in the past and I finally decided to put a ls2 out of a 2006 GTO into my 240sx. I am wanting to put on a turbo kit that enables me to make a realiable extra 100 hp without hurting my engine. I have a sikky aluminum oil pan and don't have any ports for a oil feed like the gto oil pan does, all I have is a in/out for my oil filter relocation kit. I was wondering where are some locations I can tap into a oil feed and oil return line to run my turbo? I know I can tap a return into my oil pan but I was wondering if there is any other locations and I am having issues finding where I can tap into a oil feed. Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers!
Cheers!

Remove the stock oil sending unit from behind the intake and screw in a metric adapter to a 1/8npt to -4 fitting.
You can also tap into the front cover for the drain since that Sikky pan is sheetmetal and wouldnt tap so well. You could use a fuel cell bulkhead fitting really easy if the pan is off.
Im working on a 350Z with an LS and single 76 with a Sikky pan. I tapped the front cover on that one.

I am using this on my personal car -
It was made by Kurt Urban Performance. I cant find it on their website anymore though. You could always just tap where the oil pressure sensor sticks up in the back, which I have also done. The other option you have is using an adapter where the blockoff is right above the oil filter

Does the PCM need to know the oil pressure for any reason. IE i have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge already. Is it ok to delete the factory sender and use that purely for turbo oil feed? Im in the process of fitting a comp 7479 to my 6L swapped 300zx

Nice! Could you possibly send me a pic of the port you used for oil pressure. Pictures do me wonders. I'm used to coolant and oil ports bein all over the place on jdm engines.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't but I'm not 100%, you can run an aftermarket gauge to monitor the oil pressure. What oil pan are you using? If your using a gto oil pan its easy to get a feed and return from it. Especially since yours and my engine bay are pretty open compared to some other vehicles.

There's only one port back there on the valley cover, you can't miss it. I used a M16x1.5mm to -4AN fitting, then just a -4 AN 90 to the line.

You can use any of the oil galley's in the block... there's one on the passenger side right above the starter, and two on the driver's side; one on the bottom to the rear, and one in the front right near where the alternator goes (in stock location). Any one of these can be used for oil pressure or oil feed. They are all the same thread; M16x1.5mm.
