Im looking to upgrade my seats in my 1998 formula firebird ws6, i havent decided if i want to buy some nice aftermarket seats like Recaro Style "topline" or if i wanna see if i can find a nice bmw or some luxury sports car parts-car and fiddle around with a bracket to make them fit? anypast builds you know of? pics? advice? please help.

Interesting question. I havent yet seen anyone modify or swap out their seat brakets for a luxurious car's seats.

My WS6 seats were recently wrapped in new leather, stock seats. I agree above,,,

Until u sit in an SLS AMG, then no longer are you allowed to say luxurious enough lol jk... but seriously, those seats were so damn comfortable! I actually preferred the sls seats to the Bentley Continental, the 458 seats are really sporty but not enough comfort for a car like ours

Yes I know u have no chance in hell at affording these seats but just wanted to throw my experiences out there lol

I have corbeau CR1's. Takes a little getting used to as the seating position changes a little from stock. I enjoy it now though.

There is one bird on here that put gto seats in, and I am thinking of doing the same. Also have a buddy offering to sell me his 300zx seats.

I cant imagine luxury seats on a fbody. Id rather go for some sport seats like the recaros. They just flow better IMO

What about c6 seats? I found a good deal on some c6 z06 seats for 500, would the brackets match up or would I have to custom fab something?

Do search on this forum for it, Someone actually did the C6 conversion already and I believe a GTO one as well.

I like my stock seats except the material, If I don't get bored and sell my car for something different I may get mine redone with something that doesn't feel so cheap
