Locked numbers seem low with G5X2
Mods are G5X2, Patriot Gold springs, lid, LT's, true duals with spiral flow muffs, and a Yank 4600
It seems to me that my locked numbers aren't where they should be. I figured I would be in the 380-390 area locked up.

That is both locked and unlocked. Can't you tell from the 40 rwtq change from one to the other. I locked the converter with the tech 2. The graphs look completely different if you know what you are looking at.
Yes, I think those numbers are really low. You don't have any codes though. Who did the install.

Yea that is wierd. Have you done a leak down? I doubt that would be it though with you car being so new and all. The a/f looks good but was the car fully tuned after the install (including the convertor?) But if he manually locked it would that matter? That is really odd.

I did the install, still not seeing how that would make my numbers so low though :dunno:
It's just really weird I only gained 4RWHP over unlocked  I know it's not the tune either. Chris Robinson is the **** and he's the one that tuned it.

It was locked and the dyno sheet proves it. The converter must be a very efficient. Chris was sitting in the passenger seat pushing the LOCK CONVERTER soft key on the Tech 2. If you don't believe us, even though the dyno is right there you can call him.

Low numbers tend to scare a person. I'm trying to line up a set of track wheels/tires for next friday so I can see how it performs

those numbers are low...plain and simple...
id start looking for the reason...
it should be obvious...37X ft lbs of tq unlocked with a yank 4600? it should be more like 420+ easy
i could understand 20-30 difference in hp locked to unlocked...but locked it should put down in the 380 neighborhood with over 400 ft lbs of tq

do you remember when people started buying the car chemistry inserts to cut down on rasp and they were actually causing a 50RWHP loss in power on the dyno? Do you think maybe a poor job on my duals combined with moroso spiral flows could be choking up the motor?

I had a very ugly true dual setup before with the Bullets. With that and a S2 throttle body, I only gained 2hp peak and like 15rwtq. Now under the graph was a HUGE gain.

I don't know if this makes any difference but the guy I bought the converter from said it was a PT 4600 but the converter was labeled Ultra Yank 4600

The reason I'm leaning towards converter right now is just because the actual gains I saw from the cam and tuning is very impressive in my eyes, just the numbers don't look good on paper.
