Default fuel pressure problems.

I'm having problems with my fuel pressure.
I'm having problems making my fuel pressure rise higher than 60psi.
No matter how high I set my base fuel pressure it doesn't seem to help.

Dual walbro 342 intank.
Both running full time.
Magnafuel regulator 1:1
-6 return,3/8 feed, stock fuel rails. 80lb injectors.

Whats your base pressure. Does it rise at all or rise and then start falling?

If possible see if you can apply 10psi of air pressure to the boost connection on the FPR while the car is idling. Those pumps probably are bypassing around 65psi so you'll never be able to get above that if that's the case.

The car previously made 600whp on e85 on the last setup so I'm sure they are both working.

Because he's running boost, so you want the pressure to increase incrementally with each pound of boost pressure.

I have dual walboros on my gto. One pump is on all the time and the second is on a hobbs switch to come on under boost. I believe the gtos have an in tank regulator that constantly tries to maintain factory ~58 psi which might be your problem. I set the regulator on my secondary pump to 60psi, enough to add fuel when needed but not too much to make the factory regulator wacky.

What fuel pressure gauge do you have?

I had a prosport evo fuel pressure gauge with a sender that looks like your sender. Gauge and sender was crap and read the same fuel pressure all the time even under boost. Got me a aem one now and all is good.

I removed the intank regulator along with the filter .

The gauge does move under boost.

So you have filters on the pumps then an after filter? Take that wix off of their. 3/8" what size is that comparable too in -AN? I ran two walbro gss340s in tank, -8 feed and stock line as return, i had zero problem at 15lbs of boost 78mm turbo on a 6.0.

So a couple problems if you ask me. Id get a real pair of fuel rails, get a bigger feed line and ditch that second filter. Also, where is your manifold reference for the regulator?

Do you have the supply going straight through the regulator?

you have the line coming FROM the tank (supply) going into an inlet of the regulator. Im pretty sure they dont work that way. Atleast ive never seen one hooked up like that.

The people that ive seen that put a regulator on the rails hook it up to the -4an port on the end of the rail. regulating the rail.
